In an unexpected turn of events, AirAsia's Tony Fernandes and Virgin's Richard Branson (also Tony's former employer) agreed to a bet where by the loser of their respective F1 sponsored racing team will have to wear the stewardess uniform of the winning team. Tony would be on the Lotus F1 team and Richard will be on the new Virgin Racing team in the 2010 circuit race. While waiting to see the race AND the new 'stewardess', Tony came up with an early mocking poster depicting Richard in AirAsia's cabin crew outfit:
