7th Graduation Ceremony

I graduated from Foundation of Commerce on July 2007. And I formally graduated today in May 2008. Why? Because there's only one graduation ceremony per year and thus me and my batch have to wait and join the batch after us to formally go up that stage, get that scroll (fake one la, just for show) take snapshots and go home worrying about the assignment due next week. Although no robe or square hats (only for degree they say), the ceremony was fun since my family members attended it as well. But for the photo session, some of us feel it was a rip-off. For RM150, I thought we could take a picture at Typhoon Studio fully dressed in a typical Curtin graduate outfit. Alas, we could not be bothered much as we have bigger fish to eat and the photos/portraits will be done in 3 weeks time (end of May).

Camera crew.

The PVC Dr. Evans giving a speech. John Curtin's image is behind him in the pink banner.

Hallod, a 3666er comrade confronting the PVC and the Dean to get his rightful scroll.

Ginsan, another comrade from h3666.

A somewhat 'happy' performance after the certificate conferring session /:)

The Insignificant Kawaii showing off his insignificant guitar skills, playing to the song Sweet Dreams - Marylin Manson

Me and another fellow graduate (though I didn't get his name, oops I did it again XD)

Staff getting all excited about the graduation XD

The 7D6B gang

This is the university's 7th foundation graduation ceremony since 2001. Though it was a bit sucked to join juniors in the same ceremony even though one is in 2nd semester 1st year, it was worthwhile nonetheless as me and my kamchengs were graduating together, something impossible for our degree graduation since we will be graduating on different years and continents.

Now, to get to the guanxi presentation on Tuesday and haul arse for my HRM's remaining 20% internal mark.

The name for uni really not creative ah, monash also based on someone surname.

Nice and simple, and at least ur uni people all dress properly, some girl from my college ah aiyo dunno do they even understand what does it mean by dress with appropriate, wear like they r going to some ball or club, the dress is sooo... short!! we all said people in front role must have some nice view there. I feel like am attending some sort of fashion show which i happily enjoyed criticize there muahaha...

I never enjoy this sort of ceremony, esp my stupid college held in at dinner time, can't eat before the ceremony as it's way too early, not hungry yet, eat after the ceremony we are all stave to death edi by that time. 5pm - 8pm, right at the dinner time!! So our memory of graduation is after the ceremony sensei all sneak to their preparation room makan biscuit before they can go makan at somewhere. Student all pergi as soon as they finish taking as much picture as they want and go makan. All the restaurant tauke must be really delight with the ceremony as we'll all rush to makan at their place later. Nobody bother go home cook and makan.

um... we only wear formal on 3 occasions;

1. Presentation
2. Formal Functions
3. When the rest of the clothes are outside drying

So... technically speaking evyone here dress 'freely' as well, u know wat i mean...
