Drinking Cold Water Causes Cancer

So is eating bananas or lemons during sinus, but that one does not cause cancer. Ham is not a doctor nor is he in Health Science.

Today alone I got 2 new info on eating safety. First one was bananas and lemons. Avoid eating those when you are having a sinus because they worsen the sinusitis [WTH is Sinus?]. I can't find any online article to support this yet, because it came from a friend who had sinus not long ago and got an advice from his doctor to avoid eating the said fruits. I'm guessing the banana's potassium or other content promotes the 'thickening' of the sinus that leads to one of those nasty total nose block that leaves you sleeping with your mouth open. For the lemon, it could be the citrus that may cause tingling sensation to one's nose, but causes a nasty chemical reaction from a sinusitis nose that tries to respond appropriately to the tingling effect.

Next is the cold water cancer thing. They say (yeah 'they' as in 'my friend told me' and 'this e-mail says') drinking cold water causes cancer. Here's how the message goes;

Subject: Drinking Cold water after meal = Cancer!

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion.

Once this "sludge" reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine.

Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

**PLEASE BE A "TRUE" FRIEND AND SEND THIS ARTICLE TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS YOU CARE ABOUT**

And then 'they' say again that's why the older people reminds us to drink warm water in a meal instead of an icy one. Too bad this claim was debunked. You can read more about this cold water cancer thingy at the this link, or Google for some more info. Thank goodness it was a false claim, I've been drinking cold since, um... 5? 3? For those who is still worried and thinks the claim is true, go on ahead and drink warm or hot water. And then it's up to you to spam your friend's inbox with the message above. Cheerios~
